This paper deals with the linguistic features of Philippine English on different levels of linguistic analysis, based on the corpus of three interviews from a Filipino talk show. The most important features of PE, as described in the literature on the subject, are summed up in the theoretical part of the thesis. The empirical part illustrates that apart from the well-known features found in the literature, there are also some other features, noticed in the present corpus, while some are in contrast with the assumptions from the literature on the subject.
